Anxiety insomnia, these conditions could be related to one another. Insomnia can induce anxiety and it can also happen the other way around. For some, their sleep problems make their anxiety more severe. Some didn’t even have this issue but started to have it when their insomnia became chronic.
The mind could be restless and wander around when we’re unable to sleep, so it could lead to anything, including anxiety. The night is the time when we’re supposed to rest the mind, not overwork it. It will be a vicious cycle which is harder to treat.
Which comes first?
It’s different for each individual. If someone has anxiety, then it may develop into insomnia when he couldn’t solve the problem persists for a long time. The same happens if he has insomnia before anxiety. Trouble sleeping puts so much stress on the body and soul.

Many don’t realize that those dysfunctional thoughts can lead to major suffering. People with anxiety need to be guided to change their way of thinking, so that the problems can be viewed from a different perspective. They need to learn how to respond when the same stressors come up in the future.
Exercise to the point of exhaustion can make the body more prepared for bed. We tend to feel sleepy after doing strenuous activities. Now that you know this, tire yourself out to release all the tension in the body. Exercise doesn’t need to be painful like weightlifting. It could be as simple as running or jogging. In other words, there’s no need to use specific equipment to burn calories and increase your fitness levels.
The purpose of exercise is to maintain mental and physical health. The more exhausted you are after a workout session, the stronger your desire to hit the bed and sleep. The body needs rest because it should replenish all the energy used for activities.
Redecorate the bedroom
The bedroom is the space where you spend most of the time at night. If the room looks like a mess, it can trigger insomnia. Even someone without sleep problems could end up with insomnia if he sleeps in an untidy bedroom. Please change up the way your room appears. If it’s cluttered, put things back in storage and clean up everything. If it looks plain and boring, redecorate it with calming decors.
